Microsoft has announced a major update to its Microsoft 365 and Office 365 offerings that will impact how you position and deliver services to your customers.
What’s Changing?
Starting November 1, 2025, customers will have the flexibility to choose Microsoft 365 and Office 365 suites with or without Microsoft Teams.
New customers worldwide will once again be able to purchase Microsoft 365 and Office 365 Enterprise suites that include Teams. This will maximise available options, as customers can choose from the full lineup of Microsoft 365 and Office 365 suites with Teams or opt for suites without Teams—on their own or paired with other collaboration solutions.
This change is important because it:
- Provides greater choice and flexibility for customers who may prefer alternative collaboration tools.
- Aligns globally with Microsoft’s commitment to interoperability and customer control.
- Creates new opportunities for partners to advise customers on the best licensing strategy for their business needs.
