As per Microsoft’s on April 1st HERE, we would like to clarify the following.
Microsoft has announced pricing updates for Teams Phone Standard, Power BI Pro, and Power BI Premium Per User. These changes will apply to both new and renewing customers.
Here’s what you need to know:
What’s changing:
A price increase will also apply to monthly billing on subscriptions for the following standalone products:
- Microsoft Teams Phone Standard: $14.40 > $18.00 (25% increase)
- Power BI Pro: $18.00 > $25.20 (40% increase)
- Power BI Premium Per User: $35.88 > $43.08 (20% increase)
What’s not changing:
- No pricing changes for customers who license Power BI Pro or Teams Phone when purchased through Microsoft 365 or Office 365 E5 suites.
What you can do:
- Customers can switch to annual upfront billing at renewal and pay less than the new monthly rate.
