What’s Changing?
Microsoft is implementing new requirements for all CSP Indirect Resellers in two key areas:
1.Authorisation Requirements (Effective Now)
To remain an authorised Microsoft CSP Indirect Reseller, you must:
- Complete Microsoft’s business vetting process
- Generate at least $1,000 USD in total revenue over a 12-month period
- Complete the mandatory requirements of the Partner Security Score
- Sign the Indirect Reseller Microsoft Partner Agreement (MPA)
Microsoft will check these requirements on October 1st. We recommend you take action now.
The Partner Security Score needs to be done before July 1st
2. Incentive Eligibility Requirements (Effective Now)
To qualify for Microsoft Incentives and rebates, you must:
- Either obtain a Solutions Partner designation OR achieve at least 25 partner capability points in each solution area (Modern Work, Business Applications, Azure)
- Generate at least $25,000 USD in total revenue over a 12-month period
Microsoft will check these requirements on October 1st. We recommend you take action now.
Important Dates to Remember
1 July 2025: Complete all Mandatory requirements of the Partner Center security score
1 October 2025: Authorisation and incentive requirements take effect
What This Means for You
Microsoft is raising the bar for all partners to ensure a more capable ecosystem.
- $1,000 USD ($1,544 AUD as of writing this email*) in trailing twelve months to remain authorised by October 1.
- $25,000 USD ($38,627.50 AUD as of writing this email*) in trailing twelve months to be eligible for incentives by October 1
