There’s a moment in every Copilot conversation where the customer nods, buys the licences, and then asks the question you’ve been waiting for: what else can this thing do?
That’s the agent conversation. And right now it’s one of the clearest new revenue lines available to MSPs.
What makes an agent different
Standard Copilot waits for a prompt. You ask, it answers, the session ends. An agent is built for a job. It knows where the information lives, it knows what it’s allowed to do, and it can be published wherever people already work, whether that’s Teams, a website or inside Microsoft 365. Instead of a person doing a repetitive task every day, the agent handles it.
Think of a leave agent answering HR questions, a support agent logging tickets, or a customer service agent handling enquiries on a website. Each one takes a small, repeatable piece of work off someone’s plate.
You’ll see one built, live
Rather than talking through slides, Hedy Musa will build a business agent in the session. You’ll watch the whole thing, from the first prompt through to publishing, using the tools included in Microsoft 365 Copilot licences as well as Copilot Studio for the more advanced builds.
Seeing it built end to end is what makes it sellable. Once you’ve watched the process, you can repeat it in front of a customer.
Where the money is
This is the part most sessions skip. We’ll cover the agent scenarios that are worth packaging: which workflows are genuinely worth automating, which ones are vanity projects, and how to price the build and the ongoing support around it.
For your customers, it’s a low code path to real automation without hiring developers. For you, it’s a services conversation that sits well above the licence margin.
