Microsoft CSP pricing update from 1 October 2026: what partners need to know

Become A Reseller
30 September 2026 · Microsoft

Microsoft has released updated CSP pricing for a select range of Microsoft 365 and Office 365 offers, effective 1 October 2026.

Microsoft is making this change, and the most important point is simple: Microsoft’s Recommended Retail Price (RRP) is not changing. What changes is partner pricing on the affected offers, which may change reseller margins.

Which offers are affected?

  • Office 365 E1
  • Office 365 E3
  • Exchange Online
  • OneDrive for Business
  • SharePoint Online
  • Microsoft 365 Apps for Business
  • Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise

Is this a price increase for my customers?

Not if you price in line with Microsoft’s RRP. Because RRP is staying the same, partners whose customer pricing matches Microsoft’s published RRP don’t need to tell customers anything at this stage.

Who should take a closer look?

If you sell below RRP, or you have pricing agreements set up for specific customers, now is a good time to check those accounts. Knowing where you stand before your next quote or renewal is much easier than finding out afterwards.

What should partners do now?

  1. Review open quotes that include any of the affected offers
  2. Check upcoming renewals from 1 October onwards
  3. Plan future opportunities using the updated pricing
  4. Flag any customer agreements that may need a second look
