Overview: Acronis is introducing three major changes to simplify procurement, improve clarity, and lower costs.
1. Price Reduction – Microsoft 365 Backup
A price drop of 17%–35% is being applied to Direct Backup to Microsoft 365 Backup Storage, charged per GB (SKU: SPZBMSENS).
This does not affect Microsoft 365 Backup services charged per seat with unlimited storage.
New pricing goes live August 1, 2025.

2. Service (Re-)Naming
Services previously referred to as “Standard” or “Advanced” will now be named according to their functionality. No features or pricing will change — just clearer names.
Examples:
- Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud → No Change
- Acronis Advanced Disaster Recovery → Acronis Disaster Recovery
- Acronis Advanced Security + EDR → Acronis EDR
- Acronis Collaboration App Security → Acronis Collaboration Security
- Acronis Advanced Automation → Acronis PSA
The features, inclusions, and pricing remain unchanged.
3. Solution-Based Packages & Pricing
Previously, individual services applied to the same workload (e.g. SaaS, Workstation, Server) had to be licensed and billed separately. Now, commonly combined services are bundled into solution-based SKUs to simplify provisioning and billing.
Examples of solution packages:
- Acronis RMM + Acronis EDR
- Acronis Backup + Acronis Disaster Recovery
- Ultimate Protection (all core services per workload)
Individual services are still available separately (per workload or per GB).

If you’re using a cloud marketplace or automated billing platform:
- Review and map the renamed SKUs before August.
- Update your systems to include solution-based packages where appropriate.
- Inform your sales and support teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
